Those looking for the best opportunity to finally own their own homes have been called to attend the 13th edition of Abuja International Housing Show which is slated for 23rd – 26th July 2019 in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja.
The show has a history of assembling the best real estate companies, mortgage finance managers and government officials offering the most affordable housing deals for interested home seekers.
According to the show’s convener, Bar Festus Adebayo, the show has a mandate to help address Nigeria’s housing deficit which leaves many people without the opportunity of owning a decent home of their own.
“Owning a home is one of man’s greatest needs, yet it is a major challenge in Nigeria. But we can all come together and solve this. At Abuja International Housing Show, prospective home seekers will have a variety of convenient and affordable mortgage options to choose from. There is no show that brings that much opportunity in Nigeria,” he said.
According to him, over 5000 people have benefited from such window of opportunities in the past years after attending the event.
“We have testimonies from a lot of people who gave up the dream of becoming home owners. But attending this event opened their eyes. You don’t have to be a millionaire to own your own home. There are opportunities to own homes that are so cheap that the buyers wouldn’t feel the burden because of how relaxed and spread the payment plans are. We are passionate about people owning their own homes, and this is what the Housing Show has achieved over the years,” he added.
Many stakeholders also believe that when the supply of housing options are available in this manner, it can easily reduce the pricing, which is a great advantage for the buyers.
The call is therefore an important one for home seekers as opportunities of this kind are very rare.
According to Adebayo, over 200 estate developers including all leading brands from Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Kano, Ogun and Abuja will be at the show.
The Show will also be attended by top dignitaries like Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and other international housing stakeholders and companies, and registrations are ongoing.
